Eddie Echeverria

Eddie Echeverria is an Associate at TrailRunner International based in Nashville.

Prior to joining TrailRunner International, Eddie worked as an Account Supervisor at Edelman in the Crisis and Risk practice, designing communication strategies, crisis playbooks, and tabletop exercises.

Eddie has worked with clients in tech, biotech, manufacturing, retail, food and beverage, and financial services. His work has covered an array of issues, such as labor and employment, cybersecurity, litigation, stakeholder activism, and product launches.

Earlier in his career, Eddie worked at Lyft, developing and scaling a crisis communications program during a period of rapid growth for the company. In that role, he developed internal communications systems, managed reputational risks, and developed executive communications for internal and external crises. He also managed issues related to safety, labor, and regulatory compliance.

Eddie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Union University. In his free time, Eddie enjoys writing, running, reading, and catching the occasional ska show.


Caroline Tomaselli

Caroline Tomaselli is an Associate at TrailRunner International based in New York. 

Prior to joining TrailRunner International, Caroline served as a Corporate Communications Manager at DDA, where she crafted and implemented strategic communications plans for clients across emerging technology, AI, and film production and financing.

She began her career at Hiltzik Strategies on the technology and finance team, where she worked with prominent corporations, startups, and individuals on their strategic communications work, developing proactive strategies and thought leadership programs for clients.

Caroline brings experience developing and executing comprehensive narratives for companies and high-profile individuals. Her expertise spans a range of industries including finance, technology, venture capital, the creator economy, and entertainment.

Caroline earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Caroline is an active member of the New York Junior League and in her free time, she likes to volunteer with the organization, attend concerts and theater performances, bake sourdough bread, and read.


Yasmeen Munira

Yasmeen Munira is an Associate at TrailRunner International, based in the United Arab Emirates.

Yasmeen brings eight years of international experience advising government, corporate, and consumer brands across Asia and the Middle East. She specializes in reputation management, executive positioning, and digital communications that bridge global narratives with measurable business impact.

Before joining TrailRunner International, Yasmeen was an Account Director at Edelman Middle East, where she led regional mandates for DP World, one of the world’s largest logistics providers. She advised senior executives across five regions, shaped the company’s global thought leadership presence at the World Economic Forum, and drove digital engagement that achieved record visibility across the group’s international platforms.

Previously, Yasmeen was a Senior Consultant at Consulum, advising Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Sports, and Ma’aden on digital transformation and communications aligned with Vision 2030. Earlier in her career, she worked with clients across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia region, including Nikon, The Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore, and William Grant & Sons. Notably, she played a lead role in launching Impossible Foods in Singapore, catalyzing nationwide demand for plant-based products, and shifting perceptions toward sustainable consumption.

Based in Dubai, Yasmeen holds an MBA in international relations and business from ESEI Business School in Barcelona and a bachelor’s degree (honors) in communication studies from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling off the beaten path, whipping up a storm in the kitchen, and writing about the people and places that have shaped her view of the world.


Marianne (Mia) Moller

Marianne (Mia) Möller is an Associate at TrailRunner International, based in the United Arab Emirates.

Mia has nearly ten years of experience advising sovereign entities, multinational firms, and high-growth businesses across the Middle East on strategic communications, leadership visibility, and reputation management.

Before joining TrailRunner International, Mia spent more than three years at Burson (formerly Hill & Knowlton), where she rose from Account Executive to Senior Account Manager. She led integrated communications campaigns across healthcare, infrastructure, tourism, and space, advising clients including AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, Eli Lilly, SEHA (Abu Dhabi Health Services Company), Etihad Rail, AD Ports Group, and Careem. She also managed the global launch of Neo Space Group, Saudi Arabia’s national space company backed by the Public Investment Fund.

As part of a two-person team leading KnowledgePlus — a strategic knowledge transfer initiative — Mia supported the execution of a program for the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, before project managing the development and launch of the ADNOC Communications Academy 2.0.

Earlier in her career, Mia worked at Burson-Marsteller, focusing on financial communications and investor relations in the finance, legal, and fintech sectors. She also supported Bloomberg’s New Voices initiative to increase female executive representation in regional business media.

Mia holds a Bachelor of Communications with a double major in public relations and management from Murdoch University. In her free time, Mia enjoys learning new skills, exploring her interest in cars and motorcycles as both an enthusiast and a rider, and is a passionate weightlifter.


Julia Downey

Julia Downey is an Associate based in TrailRunner International’s New York office. Julia began her career at TrailRunner International as an intern before being named an Analyst in 2023.

Prior to joining TrailRunner International, Julia worked at A+E networks as a Project Management Coordinator supporting the company’s corporate outreach initiatives. Additionally, through Northeastern University’s Cooperative Education program, Julia completed two co-ops at Boston-based technology and healthcare public relations firm, PAN Communications.

Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration from D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.

In her free time, she enjoys trying out new restaurants and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Finnegan.


Sayema Wasi

Sayema Wasi is an Associate at TrailRunner International based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sayema brings nine years of experience across both agency and in-house roles and a background in journalism, helping shape communications strategies for clients in several sectors including technology, finance, and logistics.

Sayema joins TrailRunner International from Golin MENA, where she was an Account Director and Head of the Corporate Practice, leading communications programs for several Fortune 500 companies. Previously, she held roles at Edelman and APCO Worldwide. Sayema’s background also includes a key role at Meta (formerly Facebook), where she led internal communications and program management for the Global Operations Knowledge Management team across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.

Sayema holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai, UAE.


Erica Wu

Erica Wu is an Associate for TrailRunner International based in Shanghai.

Prior to joining TrailRunner International, Erica served as Public Relations Manager for two financial communications firms in Hong Kong where she primarily worked on IPO communications for clients from various industries including  energy, health care and real estate. Before that, also in Hong Kong, she worked for a commercial bank as a customer service officer and as a researcher for a financial media company.

Erica holds a Master of Science degree from Hong Kong Baptist University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southwest University of Political Science & Law, China.

Erica is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, watching movies, and going to concerts.


Alex Fassnacht

Alex Fassnacht is an Associate in TrailRunner International’s Dallas / Fort Worth office. Alex began her career at TrailRunner International as an intern before being named an Analyst in 2023.

Before joining the firm, Alex worked at Southern Methodist University as a student ambassador in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and as an intern at the Office of President George W. Bush.

Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and public policy from Southern Methodist University.

In her free time, Alex enjoys running, reading, and being with her friends and family.


Sarah Hicks

Sarah Hicks is an Associate based in TrailRunner International’s Dallas/Fort Worth office. Sarah began her career at TrailRunner International as an Analyst in 2023.

Prior to joining TrailRunner International, Sarah served as a public relations intern at Lambert, a strategic communications firm specializing in public relations, investor relations, and integrated marketing. Before that, she worked as a social media intern at Watlow Electric Manufacturing Company, creating content and helping maintain social media channels.

Sarah graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in management and a certificate in international business.

In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.


Matt Paden

Matt Paden is an Associate based in TrailRunner International’s New York office. Matt began his career at TrailRunner International as an Analyst in 2023.

Prior to joining TrailRunner International, Matt served as a communications and marketing intern in Madrid for South Summit, a global conference connecting startups, investors, and corporations. He previously worked as a public relations intern for the Mental Health Association in New Jersey and Noble Steed Music.

Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and Spanish along with a music industry minor from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

In his free time, Matt enjoys playing saxophone, creative writing, biking, and exploring.
